Of his many achievements during this time, among the best known are the establishment of Cambridge University Botanic Garden at it's current beautiful site, and founding the collection of plant specimens that was to become the University Herbarium. This notecard pack contains illustrations from the beautiful charts that Henslow prepared to accompany his lectures, created by observing the minutiae of plants such as ferns and moss through powerful microscopes. An extensive collection of these astonishing charts, along with microscopes that belonged to the Professor, are held in the Whipple Museum of the History of Science.
Also available in our Henslow range: cushions, tea towels, and more.
