St Edmund's College

Founded in 1896, St Edmund’s College is the only full College in Cambridge (and Oxford) with a post-Reformation Roman Catholic founding. Affectionately known as ‘Eddies’, the College is one of the University’s mature colleges, dedicated to students aged 21 and above.

With more than 80 nationalities represented by its undergraduate and postgraduate community, the College is bridging disciplines and cultures to solve humanity’s challenges. Notable alumni include Georges Lemaître, the originator of the ‘Big Bang’ theory and Nobel Prize-winning chemist and computer scientist John M Jumper.
