100% Organic Cotton Crew Neck Sweatshirt, featuring the stunning Ancient of Days illustration from the Frontispiece of Blake's stunning work Europe a Prophecy.
Not many copies of Europe a Prophecy were ever created, and even less have survived: only thirteen extant copies are known. Every copy was painstakingly hand printed at Blake's residence in Lambeth. Production of each print required a hand colouring method, making each copy unique. This one, from the collection of the Fitzwilliam Museum is a particularly fine example of Blake's work.
The subject of the image is Urizen, Blake's mythic figure who represents the embodiment of law and reason. In the image he is separating darkness from light as he brings order to the universe.

Production of these products usually takes about 2-3 days, and shipping can take another 2-3 days.
As these products are made to order, they may not be returned or exchanged, except if faulty. Please make sure you check the size carefully before ordering.
