Harpsichordist Jane Chapman plays airs from William Hamilton Bird's 1789 collection and arrangement of Hindustani airs. This was the first ever publication arranging Indian music for western instruments. These pieces act as a musical accompaniment to the display at the Fitzwilliam Museum. 'A Mughal Songbook: Art, Music and Empire.'
