Cotton tote bag featuring a detail of the polar exploration ship the Discovery. The Discovery inaugural voyage began in 1901 with the British National Antarctic Expedition. Robert Falcon Scott and Ernest Shackleton led the crew.
This detail is taken from one of the polar maps that adorns the ceiling of the entrance hall in the Polar Museum, by artist MacDonald Gill (1884-1947).
