May Morris, Honeysuckle, designed 1883

May Morris was the daughter of William and Jane, and worked as a designer for her father's firm. During her first three years working for Morris & Co, May Morris designed three wallpapers. ‘Honeysuckle’ was her most popular and enduring pattern and its light and uplifting design proved very successful for the firm.

These fair trade papier-mache baubles are meticulously hand-painted by artisans in Kashmir.
