From the needlework sampler collection of The Fitzwilliam Museum. This fabulous sweatshirt is printed with an original sampler by schoolgirl Ann Gibbons in the 18th century. The original piece comprises wool embroidered with polychrome silks in cross and eyelet hole stitch.
