    Thomas Robins the Elder lived in Bath for much of his career, gaining a reputation for painting English country houses and gardens. His depictions of estates designed in the popular Rococo style are important visual records of these now vanished gardens. His son, Thomas Robins the Younger, was also a painter and continued his father's legacy. This pack contains works from the Broughton Collection of botanical art, housed at the Fitzwilliam Museum.
