Purple Mountain Saxifrage - Glass dish
Purple Mountain Saxifrage - Glass dish
A beautiful and unique piece of art by Cambridge artist and jeweller Maureen Charles. This dish is inspired by the tree slide photography of researcher Dr Alan Crivellaro, which was on display as part of the True to Nature exhibition at the Fitzwilliam Museum in 2022. This gorgeously painted glass dish replicates the microscopic details of the alpine plant purple mountain saxifrage (Saxifraga oppositifolia).
This is a decorative art work and not appropriate for microwaves or dishwashers. Wipe carefully with a damp cloth to clean.
