Cotton tea towel featuring a detail of the polar exploration ship the Terra Nova. The Terra Nova is best known for carrying the 1910 British Antarctic Expedition, the last expedition of legendary explorer Robert Falcon Scott. 

This detail is taken from one of the polar maps that adorns the ceiling of the entrance hall in the Polar Museum, by artist MacDonald Gill (1884-1947).
