A beautiful and unique piece of art by Cambridge artist and jeweller Maureen Charles. This dish is inspired by the tree slide photography of researcher Dr Alan Crivellaro, which was on display as part of the True to Nature exhibition at the Fitzwilliam Museum in 2022. Taking the colours and shapes of the microscopic photographs of a species of broom shrub (Adenocarpus versicolor) as her starting point, Maureen has created a stunning one of a kind work of fused glass with shimmering jewel-like detail.

This is a decorative art work and not appropriate for microwaves or dishwashers. Wipe carefully with a damp cloth to clean.
