Xu Zhimo, Taking Leave of Cambridge Again, 1928

The Chinese poet Xu Zhimo is an alumna of King's College Cambridge. His best known work is a poem inspired by the city and in particular by the shining water and peaceful surroundings of the River Cam. The poem is reproduced on this cotton tea towel in both the original Chinese and in English translation.
