The House at Kettle's Yard was once owned and lived in by artist and collector Jim Ede and his wife Helen. They filled the house with pieces by artists including Alfred Wallis, Christopher Wood, Ben and Winifred Nicholson, Barbara Hepworth, and Henri Gaudier-Brzeska, carefully curating the furnishings and decorations of their domestic interior to fuse art with life. Visitors to Kettle's Yard today can see this unique space just as the Edes intended. This guide book contains a foreword by Ede, a plan of the house, and information about many of the beautiful objects within. A wonderful souvenir of a unique place.
