This catalogue is published to accompany a landmark new exhibition of paintings, sculptures, and prints by American contemporary artist Glenn Ligon. The show sees Ligon stage interventions through the galleries of the Fitzwilliam Museum, placing his artworks alongside pieces from the museum including Dutch and Flemish flower paintings, engravings by Degas and Auerbach, and other artefacts from the Fitzwilliam collection. The exhibition runs from 20 September 2024 to 2 March 2025.
