Founders Fountain Pen

Founders Fountain Pen

Exclusively designed by Onoto for the Fitzwilliam Museum, we are pleased to present the Founders Fountain Pen for sale, inspired by the world famous entrance to the Museum that has wowed visitors since its completion in 1875.

The barrel of this exclusive pen is handmade from high density acrylic, and painstakingly engraved. Contrasting golden engraving and inky black acrylic makes the pen a thing of real beauty, accentuated by the gold-plated sterling silver banding and fittings. The pen is capped with a gold-plated sterling silver button, beautifully engraved with a representation of the famous dome.

Fitted as standard with the Onoto size 7 nib, the pen strikes a great middle ground between broad and fine writing. If you prefer a different size, please get in contact.

Onoto is a British Fountain pen maker with a long history going back to 1905 when they created the first self-filling fountain pen.

This Pen is supplied with a lifetime guarantee.

  • Onoto is the only quintessentially British fountain pen maker that connects historic innovations with the preservation of traditional skills.

Their limited collections of fountain pens are redolent of history and valued not only by connoisseurs but those who treasure rituals and cultural stories that help discover the eternal within.

  • In 1905 Onoto created the first ever self-filling fountain pen, Onoto the Pen, and has since repeatedly proven its ingenuity by developing innovative products in a traditional category, like handmade fountain pens.
