Alan Turing created this blueprint for a machine designed to calculate trigonometrical functions. The intricate lines of the blueprint have both a mathematical and an aesthetic appeal that forms the basis of our zeta function machine products, which were developed to accompany the Codebreakers exhibition at the Fitzwilliam Museum in 2017. This collection was awarded the Association of Cultural Enterprises 'Range of the Year' accolade in 2018 in recognition of its unique and fascinating design. A challenging jigsaw for the scientifically minded puzzler.
