The Fitzwilliam Museum is known for its wonderful array of treasures, including ancient artefacts from Greece, Rome, and Egypt, beautiful Japanese prints, French Impressionist works, and illuminated medieval manuscripts from across continental Europe. But the many artworks from closer to home also remain perenially popular with visitors and locals alike.
