Five plates from John James Audubon, The Birds of America, c.1827-38
The Birds of America is one of the most important ornithological studies ever created. Audubon set out to record every species of bird on the North American continent, with beautifully observed illustrations and meticulous notes about the behaviours and habitats of each species. This notecard pack, with a new design and new inclusions for 2022, showcases the Carolina Parrot, Louisiana Heron, Puffin, American Flamingo, and American White Pelican.
