Celebrate the Fitzwilliam's world class collection of botanical art from the Broughton bequest with this luxurious accessory inspired by paintings of tulips by French miniaturist Nicolas Robert. Robert (1614 - 1685) spent many years of his life dedicated to the replication of floral life through art, completing a series of paintings for Gaston, Duke of Orleans and then by royal appointment in the gardens of Versailles and the Jardin du Roi in Paris for Louise XIV.
