A stunning high-quality stole and a favourite amongst our retail team! Celebrate the Fitzwilliam's world class collection of botanical art from the Broughton bequest with this luxurious accessory inspired by paintings of tulips by French miniaturist Nicolas Robert. Robert (1614 - 1685) spent many years of his life dedicated to the replication of floral life through art, completing a series of paintings for Gaston, Duke of Orleans and then by royal appointment in the gardens of Versailles and the Jardin du Roi in Paris for Louise XIV.
