Between the 15th and 17th centuries, the town of Iznik in Turkey became renowned for producing highly decorative ceramics with vibrant lead glazed colours. The designs were initially influenced by Chinese blue and white porcelain, but the Turkish artisans soon developed their own flowing style of arabesque patterns with the addition of bright reds and greens. This notecard pack includes beautiful tile designs from Turkey and Syria, and comes packaged in a presentation wallet that makes it ideal for gifting.
