Earthenware tile with a spray of flowers design, c.1755 Greeting card with a design from a late 18th century tile produced in Liverpool. The flowers on the earthenware, tin-glazed tile are portrayed in 'Fazackerley' colours: blue, yellowish green, yellow, and bold red - typical of ceramics produced in Liverpool at this time. The Fitzwilliam collection contains a series of flower tiles from the same workshop, each with a slightly different design. Product details:
