Cambridge University celebrated its 800th anniversary in 2009. To mark the occasion, British illustrator Quentin Blake was asked to produce a frieze to commemorate some of the most notable alumni from the University's history. This linen tea towel features famous faces from the world of art, science and politics such as John Milton, William Wilberforce, Dorothy Garrod and Charles Darwin. These familiar figures are all portrayed in Blake's wonderfully idiosyncratic style. A colourful and appealing gift to brighten up the kitchen.
