This 100% silk scarf takes inspiration from the extensive and varied collection of needlework samplers housed within The Fitzwilliam Museum. The central scene of shepherdess and sheep resting under a tree is taken from 1801 English piece inscribed by Elizabeth Bates. A combination of classic embroidery motifs with a bold black contrast gives this accessory a striking and modern feel.
