The delicate, subtle pattern on this soft scarf is inspired by the tendrils of the Drosera plant. Commonly known as the sundews, these carnivorous plants use their sticky leaves to capture insects. Darwin found them fascinating, and wrote in 1860 'at the present moment, I care more about Drosera than the origin of all the species in the world.' The Glasshouse range of Cambridge University Botanic Garden is home to a number of these intriguing species.
