Watercolour illustrations of auricula flowers from the Broughton Collection.
The Broughton bequest of botanical art, housed in the Fitzwilliam Museum, is one of the finest such collections in the world. This card pack represents illustrations of auriculas from the museum, showing the wide variety of colours this species can display. Auriculas are a member of the primula family and have been cultivated as 'florists flowers' since the 1750s.
