Alfred's Adventure in the Children's City was created as part of the Kettle's Yard project 'Play and Picture Books.' In this story, the artist Alfred Wallis lives in Cambridge and goes exploring through the city with local children. He shares his paintings with the children, which inspires them to conjure up stories of the sea. A tale about imagination and the power of art.
This book can be enjoyed by children of different age ranges, but is particularly recommended for those between 18 months and 4 years.
