Christopher 'Kit' Wood (1901-1930) is well represented in the painting collection of Kettle's Yard. Time spent as a young man in Paris between 1921 and 1924 exposed him to the new ideas and styles of the European avant-garde and modernism. This book contains over 40 colour illustrations alongside essays exploring Wood's work, and previously unpublished letters between the artist and his mother, fellow painters, and Kettle's Yard founder Jim Ede.
